I have additional information (e.g. special instructions, manufacturer’s recommendations, etc.) that need to be printed along with each work order. I have them embedded as hyperlinks in the task instructions or work order comments. How can I get them printed out when I print the work order?
When printing a work order select the “Options” tab on the print dialog window that comes up. Select the check box to “Print all linked documents“. This will print all supporting documents required for the work order.
Warning! This may no longer work due to the reasons below:
1. FastMaint Web/ Cloud: The “Options” tab in the print dialog is available only with some browsers e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer.
2. FastMaint Standard/ Professional: The ability to print linked documents uses the built-in Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser control.
Internet Explorer browser is no longer supported by Microsoft. However, here is a Microsoft Support article on this issue that may be helpful.
