Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMSS) that is easy to use and maintain. Tracks our ad hoc/emergency work orders across multiple shifts/departments, handles scheduled/preventative maintenance with Tasks. It is very flexible on task scheduling (daily, weekly, monthly, meter basis, etc). Also keeps track of vendor contact information and parts inventories. Easily allows for URL's to link to Excel recordkeeping files and other documents.
We have been using this CMMS for 10 years at Columbus, Ohio location and are also using it at our Marrero, Louisiana location. SM Global works on adding new features and is responsive to any customer support requests & has videos on use of product. We also use the logs to record when we replace equipment, and query it from outside programs for reporting.
Biggest selling point is EASE OF USE. It is also very stable since it uses Microsoft SQL Server for back end database.
Easy to use. Easy to set up. Will become more valuable the longer we use it. Building up a plant and machinery database from scratch.

The soft ware is easy to use. The pop up tips are very helpful. I still have more to learn about it but, it was easy to make my first work orders. I still have a lot of info to put in it about parts, equipment, ect… I feel the more I use it and become more familiar with it ,it will get even easier. The only problem I have with it is that I created an unscheduled work order and it created more that I wanted because I did not put an end date. I was not able to delete them only cancel them so I have several more of the same one than I needed. Other than that ,so for so good. Ronnie Henson
Ronnie thanks for your feedback. Glad to know that you have found FastMaint very easy to use. Regards the scheduled work orders you cannot delete, you can set the task end date so that further work orders are not scheduled. You can also use the Feedback feature to quickly close multiple work orders at a time.

I have been using this software for a few months now and have found it easy to use and covers every aspect of scheduling and reporting that I need.
I especially like the fact that I am able to separate my scheduling and reporting on my separate facilities.
Easy to maintain. On the admin side, it¿s a dream to update and maintain.

Excellent software, it has made a definite impact on the day to day running of my department. Accessibility is fantastic, the ability to get to parts via equipment etc. makes life so much easier, its very flexible and can be moulded to suit specific requirements.
I have ben using FastMaint for about 10rys and Dolike this programe. Pros - Keeping all my task on schedule, keep all vendor INFO in one place, inventory of stock parts, ability to look back on equipment maintenance records, Work order printed out daily, Cons - 1.I could type in a task search and just a work order date for unplaned task (can add date that way anymore)2. would like some example . work order layouts to customize for print outs. Auto spell check.
This is a wonderful software that I recommend for any standard organisation to implement in their system. Though I would also appreciate that FastMaint can make it more simpler for easy understanding and usage by people of different levels.
I think the platform is very well equipped but maybe overly so and complicated to actually create and manage.....it makes it hard to even delete people off the people tab without completing a bunch of prior inputs. I also feel the support should be much easier and cheaper to access.

Very easy to learn ,easy to start ,easy to plan & easy to report.
I havent had a lot of time to spend with this program yet but from what we can tell it will serve our needs well if properly implemented. We definitely like the capabilities associated with it to be sure. Hopefully we can get it to generate our PM and work order schedules flawlessly. I just wish it also came with remote login assistance just in case.
