How do I define maintenance tasks - Step 3 of 4 (FastMaint Web)
Specify the equipment, etc. for this maintenance task:- Select the Equipment tab (pictured below).
- Click on the Change button on Equipment tab. This will bring up a new page on which you can select/ change the equipment this task is associated with. If this is a general maintenance task not done on any specific equipment you can leave the list of equipment empty. When work orders are created from this task, you can associate different equipment with each work order.
- Click on the Edit button next to an equipment entry if you want to change the frequency of the task done on this specific equipment.
- Select the Locations tab to specify the location(s) that the task will be done at e.g. a plant location, customer location or even multiple rooms in a facility.
- Similarly click on the Parts tab to specify parts required for this task. Once you associate parts to a task you can click the Edit button next to each part to change the quantities used.
- Similarly click on the People tab to specify people required for this task.
