How do I define maintenance tasks - Step 3 of 5 (FastMaint Basic/ Standard/ Professional)

Enter task information:
  1. Name and description: The task below has been called "Weekly pump inspection". You can also use some a code that makes sense to you e.g. "PUMP-INSP-A", "A6 BP 124".
  2. Category, Class, Priority: The Category field could represent things like cost centers, departments, customers and so on. The task class specifies if this task is a preventive maintenance task or a breakdown maintenance task. Specify the priority (High/ Medium/ Low) for this task.
  3. Start time and duration: This task is to be done at  2.00 AM for 30 minutes.
  4. Effective period: Period during which work orders can be created from the task.
  5. Frequency: This is a weekly task done every Monday. By selecting the Monthly or Yearly options we can specify other schedules for the task e.g. once in three months, some specific time every year and so on. The Unplanned option can be used for unplanned tasks (e.g. equipment breakdowns). The Meter/ Alarm option can be used for tasks scheduled based on a meter reading or alarm condition. Tasks with the Unplanned option or Alarm option can be scheduled as needed using the Request feature. Specify a calendar if you want task dates to be automatically adjusted for calendar off days.
