Create work orders for breakdowns/ maintenance requests - Step 2 of 2 (FastMaint Basic/ Standard/ Professional)Clicking on the Requests button on the main screen brings up the form shown below. In the example the equipment "A/C Plant - B" has been selected to filter the list of unplanned tasks and only show unplanned tasks associated with this equipment. This makes it easier to locate the task you wish to schedule & create a work order for. Only tasks whose frequency is set as Unplanned will be shown in the list of tasks. Tasks with most other frequency settings are considered planned tasks and are automatically scheduled by the system. Select the task you wish to schedule OR the alarm condition you wish to report. Use the Edit button to enter comments/ special instructions that will be printed in the work order feedback. Then select the Submit button to create a task work order for the "Unplanned" task OR create work orders for any tasks based on the alarm condition you are reporting. Work orders can be modified & printed. These work orders can also be printed as part of the plan when the Planning Report is run for the period containing the work orders. Note: The Web Requests button in the top pane of this screen allows one to select & process work requests submitted with the add-on web based work request module. This module allows users who do not have FastMaint installed a way to submit requests for maintenance work using just a web browser.
